Word for 2010 - SPARROW

And why did I choose SPARROW as a word for the year? Not because of my name. Not because Mr. Weiss (my fave teacher of all) called me sparrow as a joke. But because of the reminder that God watches over them and just how much more He will watch over me - His Child.  He has my back as I go through the dailies of life. Who better for a companion, friend, bodyguard than the God who created me and knows me?

"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies ? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Luke 12:6, 7
